September: Great Catholic events this Fall!

Olav Audunssøn: Vows

Olav Audunssøn: Vows
by the Nobel Laureate, Sigrid Undset. Engaging with this new translation with Tiina Nunnally allows us to encounter a major figure in Catholic literature as her books reach a broader audience. We will consider the ways in which the novel unites modern and medieval concerns in its exploration of the troubled relationship of Olav and Ingunn. The novel is an expression of the division in the human heart between emotion and duty, love and promises, and above all between the law of the world and the law of the Gospel.
