All are invited to the First Friday, September 1, 2023, at 7:00 pm, Mass and Healing Service with Our Lady of Fatima's pastor, Rev. Roland Slobogin, as the celebrant. Kathleen McCarthy will be the speaker. Come to worship and praise the Lord with Martha's House music ministry, receive the Eucharist, have prayer teams laying on hands for individual healing after Mass, and hear witness stories. Event: Bereavement Support Group
St. Margaret of Antioch parish in Narberth is starting a new Bereavement Support Group. It will be Christ-centered and rooted in Catholic tradition, conveying God’s consolation through scripture, prayer, reflection, and sharing our faith. It is for men and women who are grieving the loss of a loved one no matter how long ago. Especially during the pandemic, many have lost loved ones. This group will help people share the journey of sorrow, process grief, and grow spiritually.
The group will run for 6 sessions from 7-8:30 pm in the Antioch Annex at St. Margaret’s Wednesdays, Sept. 20, Oct. 4, Oct. 18, Oct. 31 (Tues), Nov. 15, Nov. 29
The cost is $7 for the Participant Journal, paid at the first session. The group facilitator is a registered nurse who was previously the Bereavement Ministry Director at the Archdiocese.

Event: Sharing Christ: Learn how to be a light in a hurting world
Sharing Christ is a 7-week course, part of the ChristLife series, that will help you to grow in knowledge and confidence learning practical ways to reach out in love to others – family, friends, co-workers, neighbors and all those God brings into your life – sharing your faith and the Good News of Jesus Christ. Sharing Christ focuses on personal or friendship evangelization, sharing our relationship with Jesus in our daily encounters with people. The course helps to develop an attitude of the heart that moves us to be open to share the Good News we have experienced anytime and anywhere. Each evening session begins at 7PM in Church and includes prayer and video teaching, followed by light refreshments and small group discussion.

Harvard Public Health Magazine referred to our times as "The Age of Trauma." To make our parishes, schools and institutions places of encounter with the healing love of Jesus Christ, it is essential for staff and ministry leaders to understand trauma and how we heal from those wounds. This trauma-care certification workshop is for all those serving on the front lines of ministry, especially clergy, religious, parish/school staff and volunteer leaders.

Event: Solemn Vespers and Commissioning of New Missionaries of Mercy
Missionaries of Mercy are priests who have been commissioned by the Holy Father to give particular emphasis to the duty of all priests to “hear confessions and preach on behalf of and promote the Sacrament of Reconciliation.” In addition, they have the authority, granted by the Holy Father, to pardon certain sins reserved to the Holy See. The Archdiocese of Philadelphia rejoices to have 10 more of our priests newly appointed to this ministry.
