Event: Holy Hour Praise & Worship Series
All are invited to our Holy Hour Praise & Worship Series, with this month's event being on October 17, 2023 from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. What better way to celebrate the Eucharistic Revival than with Adoration, Confession, and beautiful praise and worship music. Each monthly holy hour will feature a brief reflection on the 7 "I Am" statements from John's Gospel.

A deacon’s ministry entails proclaiming, preaching and teaching God’s Word, assisting the bishop and priest at the Liturgy, and above all, bring the Gospel to the people as a minister of charity, as one conformed to Christ the Servant. Catholic men, and their wives if married, with a deep spiritual life who are between the ages of 29 and 55, are invited to join an in-person panel of clergy for one of three Permanent Diaconate information sessions:

Event: Mass and Healing Service at Our Lady of Fatima (Delaware County, PA)
All are invited to the First Friday, December 1, 2023, Praise & Worship at 6:45 pm, then 7:00 pm Mass and Healing Service with Our Lady of Fatima's pastor, Rev. Roland Slobogin, as the celebrant. George Isajiw, MD, will be a guest speaker. He will share the story of his grandfather, Blessed Nicholas Konrad, a Ukrainian Catholic priest and holy martyr. His cassock will be exhibited which he wore when he was murdered by the KGB in 1941. Music provided by Martha's House. Prayer teams will be available for individual healing afterwards.

The Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul is privileged to have this Annual Eucharistic Devotion beginning the First Sunday of Advent, the first Forty Hours in the Archdiocese with the beginning of the new Liturgical Year. Event: Marian Apparitions Day
Our Blessed Mother has appeared on many occasions throughout the centuries. Do you know when and where a group of shepherds found her weeping? Or which appearance resulted in the conversion of France, increasing daily prayer and Mass attendance in that country? Or which visit was an apparition without words? The day will begin with Mass at 10:00 a.m. From 10:30 - 2:30 an exhibit of Marian Apparitions -- a display planned by Blessed Carlo Acutis -- will be open to the public in the church hall while Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place in the church. The Holy Rosary will be recited at noon and The Walsingham Chaplet of the Five Wounds will be prayed at 2:30. Event: The Institute for Christian Formation
The Institute for Christian Formation (ICF) at the School of Theological Studies at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary seeks to provide participants with an opportunity to enhance their understanding of Catholic doctrine as found in the “Catechism of the Catholic Church” and is an invitation to ongoing conversion of heart in the company of brothers and sisters sharing a desire to grow in faith. ICF has in-person sessions on eight Thursday evenings each Spring and Fall. A certificate will be awarded upon completion of all four seasons. A new group will begin in January 2024.
