Event: Francesca LaRosa's "A Night with Psalms"
Catholic composer, Francesca LaRosa, who has spent the last several years setting the psalms for Cycles A, B, and C to music in both metered and chanted form, will be giving a concert at Saint Matthew Parish in Northeast Philadelphia. Francesca's "A Night with the Psalms" has something for all of the faithful. She will share a bit of her backstory, discuss how we pray the psalms within the context of the Mass, and explain why the psalms are set to music, in addition to performing some of her compositions. This event is a free faith-sharing experience for all, one that can be especially fruitful during the Lenten season.

Born Francesa Cabrini, Mother Frances Xavier Cabrini founded the Institute of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in 1880 with seven other women. The Eucharistic Miracles of the World Exhibit, collected and designed by Blessed Carlo Acutis, contains some 160 beautiful and extensive images, photographs and historical descriptions of Eucharistic Miracles recognized by the Church throughout the ages. Enjoy a self-guided tour of this magnificent display, collected and designed by Blessed Carlo Acutis, affirming the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. The exhibit also includes a First Class Relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis, an Italian teenager beatified by the Catholic Church in 2020 and best known for documenting Eucharistic miracles and the approved Marian apparitions around the world.
