Eucharistic Procession - Corpus Christi Procession
Beginning at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill and processing to St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church, 535 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill. All are welcome to celebrate 12:30pm Mass at St. Andrew with Archbishop James Patrick Green and the procession will begin immediately following along Turner Avenue. Or join us anywhere along the Turner Avenue route. Benediction, Litany and closing prayers at St. Bernadette.

Showing of Metanoia by Father David Pivonka, TOR
Metanoia is a transformation of the heart, an on-going spiritual conversion, calling us for a deeper understanding in how we see Jesus, the Father, ourselves, and others. In the Program Father Dave will explore topics such as: Why does Christ call himself “I AM”, what is meant by Jesus being thirsty for us, and why are Jesus’ teachings hard for us to follow. Metanoia is 10, half-hour episodes shot in locations throughout the Holy Land. The Program runs each Tuesday at 7:30pm in the Ministry Center Hall. We encourage you to start the evening with mass in the Chapel at 7:00pm. Each video stands alone so don’t be discouraged if you can’t make each week. The videos can also be found for free on YouTube. Event: Bereavement Support Group
St. Margaret of Antioch parish in Narberth is running a Bereavement Support Group. It is Christ-centered and rooted in Catholic tradition, conveying God’s consolation through scripture, prayer, reflection, and sharing our faith. It is for people grieving the loss of a loved one, no matter how long ago. This group will help people share the journey of sorrow, process grief, and grow spiritually.
The cost is $8 for the Participant Journal, paid at the first session. The group facilitator is a registered nurse who was previously the Bereavement Ministry Director at the Archdiocese.

Event: Mass and Healing Prayer Service at Our Lady of Fatima (Delaware County, PA)
All are invited to Our Lady of Fatima's Quarterly First Friday Mass and Healing Service on June 7, 2024. Praise & Worship begins at 6:45 pm and then 7:00 pm Mass with the HealingPrayer Service. The pastor, Rev. Roland Slobogin, is the celebrant. Prayer teams will be available for individual healing afterwards. Martha's House will provide music.

Join us for the Prayer Group in the spirit of Eileen George and her Meet the Father Ministry. We meet on a monthly basis to pray for specific intentions through Eileen’s intercession, to study and reflect on her teachings, and to pray for her beatification & canonization. Retreat for Catholics Affected by Divorce and Separation
Join the St. Raymond Nonnatus Foundation for Freedom, Family, and Faith for a half-day retreat specifically geared for Catholics who have been wounded by divorce and/or separation in need of hope and healing. The day will feature talks, time for reflection, Confessions, prayer time, and the anticipated Mass for Sunday at 4 p.m. A delicious lunch and snacks are included in the price of the retreat.

Event: Commemoration of Padre Pio’s Canonization
Let us prayerfully gather at the National Centre for Padre Pio in Barto for the Rosary and Mass to commemorate the anniversary of the canonization of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina. Following Mass, enjoy: Padre Pio’s San Giovanni, a brief 30-minute film that includes scenes from Padre Pio’s last Mass and compelling testimonies by those who knew him when he was alive and others who only got to know and love him after his death. No registration is needed.

A summer camp for Deaf/Hard of Hearing children that provides a means for summer learning, a sense of Catholic community and an atmosphere which is safe, exciting, educational and fun. Directing the camp are educators who are fluent in American Sign Language.

Thinking Well and Teaching Well: On Intellectual Virtues and Vices
Description: Collegium Institute's Young Catholic Leaders Initiative is hosting a daylong (9am-3pm) workshop for high school teachers called Thinking Well and Teaching Well: On Intellectual Virtues and Vices. The workshop revolves around three panels where discussing pairs of virtues necessary for teaching, but which seem in tension with each other: humility and courage, wonder and diligence, and contemplation and community. Our panelists include Prof. Amy Richards (Eastern University), Steve McGuire (American Council of Trustees and Alumni), Jessica Sweeney (Collegium Institute), Terence Sweeney (Villanova University), Brother Augustine Buckner, O.P. (Dominican House of Studies), and Br. Cassian Iozzo, O.P. (PhD in Astrophysics from Cornell).
