Concert with the Gregorian Choir of Paris
The Gregorian Choir of Paris (Le Choeur grégorien de Paris) will be stopping in the Philadelphia area during their first-ever tour of the United States, celebrating their 50th anniversary, as well as the much-awaited reopening of the great Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris (following the fire of 2019) on December 8. The concert will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Bridgeport, with the assistance of The Durandus Institute for Sacred Liturgy & Music. Admission is free.

One of the leading Catholic public intellectuals from our own university community, Fr. Austriaco received his BSE in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Event: Arise! Youth Evenings of Adoration
An Arise! Youth Evening of Adoration is an evening of Encounter sponsored by the Office for Ministry with Youth and collaborating parishes. It is an encounter with Christ in the Eucharist, the mercy of the Father through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and the Holy Spirit in the communion of prayer with an Intercessory Prayer Team. Teens will also experience an encounter with themselves and each other through the sharing of this experience in community.

Event: Gold Mass and Young Catholic Leaders High School Workshop
Description: Collegium Institute's Young Catholic Leaders Initiative will be hosting a daylong workshop for high school students and teachers called "Science as a Path to Wonder: From the Darkness of Space to the Light of Christ" at the Penn Newman Center. This workshop will begin with a Gold Mass for Catholic Scientists at St. Agatha-St. James Church at 9am, celebrated by Penn alumnus Msgr. Michael Magee. The Gold Mass is open to all interested members of the public, and will be followed by a brunch reception. After brunch, Br. Cassian Iozzo, O.P., a Dominican friar and PhD in Astrophysics from Cornell will deliver the keynote lecture on Catholicism and Astrophysics with Br. Augustine Buckner, O.P. offering theological commentary and reflections, followed by breakout discussions and science experiments.
