“Kerygma” is the Greek word that the Church uses to refer to the proclamation of the core message of the Gospel. This core proclamation has its own power to change hearts and win souls for Jesus Christ. AccessAble works with parishes to offer tips and ideas of how accessibility can be enhanced for individuals with mobility needs, sensory needs and non-visible conditions. Parishes that opt to receive services from AccessAble will also be included in AccessAble’s Guides which include in-depth accessibility descriptions complete with photos to assist individuals with disabilities and families prepare to visit the parish or attend a parish event. Join us at St. Margaret of Antioch parish’s (Narberth) Bereavement Support Group. It is Christ-centered and rooted in Catholic tradition, conveying God’s consolation through scripture, prayer, reflection, and sharing our faith. It is for people grieving the loss of a loved one, no matter how long ago. Many have also lost loved ones during and since the pandemic. This group will help people share the journey of sorrow, process grief, and grow spiritually. The group will run for 6 weeks (every other week) in the in the parish Annex. The cost is $8 for the Participant Journal, paid at the first session. The group facilitator is a registered nurse who was previously the Bereavement Ministry Director at the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
