Event: How the Share the Kerygma: Catechist Training
“Kerygma” is the Greek word that the Church uses to refer to the proclamation of the core message of the Gospel. This core proclamation has its own power to change hearts and win souls for Jesus Christ. In recent years, the Church is asking us to recover the kerygma and put it once again at the center of catechesis. During this training, catechists will learn simple tools for proclaiming the kerygma in their classrooms, creating the conditions for students to have a personal encounter with the living Jesus.
