The Funeral Mass is scheduled to begin on Saturday morning at 4:00 AM local time (10:00 AM Rome time). Doors will open at 12:00 Midnight of Saturday morning. Event: Solemn Memorial Mass for His Holiness, Pope Francis
All are most welcome to Saint Isidore Church in Quakertown to join in offering a solemn celebration of Holy Mass and pray for the happy repose of the soul of Pope Francis. Though, certainly, we have all been praying for the happy repose of Pope Francis’ soul since we received the news of his passing on Monday morning of the octave of Easter, due to his death taking place within the octave, Monday April 28th is the first opportunity for us to offer a full liturgical celebration of a ‘proper' Mass for the Dead. [To be clear; in this context, ‘proper’ means that we will be able to make use of the orations, readings from Scripture, and sacred music, etc... appropriate to a Mass for the Dead.] This Mass will be immediately followed by the recitation of the holy rosary for Pope Francis and imploring the Holy Spirit to pour forth His blessings upon the Church in the days ahead through the upcoming conclave and the future ministry of Pope Francis’ successor.

Enjoy a quiet morning in the presence of God. The day begins with Morning Prayer (Liturgy of the Hours), followed by a Conference on Prayer. Quiet time will be available to spend in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament in Sacred Heart Chapel, to pray the Stations of the Cross (available in the chapel, the arcade, and outside), and to walk around the grounds, enjoying nature, and visiting the outside shrines. There will be a Midday Prayer followed by departure.

An Arise! Youth Evening of Adoration is an evening of Encounter sponsored by the Office for Ministry with Youth and collaborating parishes.
